"Ask the GTL" lets you search the Gannett-Tripp Library's knowledge base for answers to commonly-asked questions. You can also send questions by using the "Ask Us!" box at the lower left side of the page.
The Library Services Desk is staffed whenever the Library is open. Student Assistants are specially trained to help with most research questions. For more in-depth questions, a librarian or staff member is available during these hours while classes are in session:
Call the Library Services Desk at (607) 735-1862 during library hours for help or to schedule a one-on-one consultation session with a librarian. Also, see the How to Research tab on this page for extensive in-depth tips on how to conduct research, and the Resources tab for information about all of GTL resources, how to access them, and tips on how to use them.
Ask us! We're here to help.
Have you misplaced something in the Library? Check at the Library Services Desk. Found items are sent to the Campus Safety Office at the end of each week. Valuable items (keys, IDs, wallets, cell phones, jewelry, etc.) are sent to Campus Safety as soon as they're found.
Research Librarians are on call from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; evenings by appointment.
Evening and weekend staff is also trained to answer your research questions.
Drop in or make an appointment, or contact us with your questions.
